Inception
Alterscope founders Marijo and Benedikt met at the Technical University of Munich.
While completing his MBA, Marijo leveraged his expertise in web3 to develop advanced DeFi strategies and protocols. At the same time, Benedikt was taking a PhD in DeFi and platform economics.
Ideation
They identified a gap in the market for systemic risk identification and mitigation within decentralized systems.
The pair addressed the problem from a technical-fundamental perspective and subsequently launched the first MVPs.
Initialization
In early 2022, the work prompted the creation of Solity Network, which evolved into Alterscope.
Alterscope went on to secure grants and funding, establish presences in Germany, the UK, and Croatia, scale the Alterscope team, and launch its risk infrastructure.
